Exposing bad science
I don't seek out bad science, but there is so much out there that sometimes it finds me. I stumbled upon some work by the Cornell Food and Brand Lab and couldn't believe the amount of the errors I saw. With my collaborators I wrote a preprint which has been downloaded about 3,000 times. I have some interest in developing methods to automate the detection of bad research. Quacks gonna quack, let's find them.
